Keeping up with his deep dives into 90's NYHC lore, Connor dedicates this third issue to the legendary Queens venue Castle Heights, home to the 5 Fingers Of Death bands like Everybody Gets Hurt, Sworn Enemy, Eye 2 Eye, Billy Club Sandwich and the mighty mighty Irate.... and many more obviously.
A whole breed of bands that carried the NYHC torch from the mid-90's all the way into the 2000s and kept on pushing musical boundaries. A fiercely DIY scene that is still influential to this day, and very much appreciated here at Gutter Groove, we're strongly recommending this one.
