Love Letters #3: Gauze

Following up on his new zine series, Kristopher now deep dives into the legendary Gauze. Now I can't pretend that I was that familiar with the band prior to reading this one but the zine definitely made me check them out, which is what every zine should aspire too.

A mix of write-up and anecdotes, a 96 MRR interview and US tour report reprint, plenty of pics, flyers and memorabilia, it's definitely a good look into the goings of a unique band. Wether it's their relentless punk ethic and live shows, or their unique approach to speed and songwriting, it's easy to tell why the band has gotten such a cult reputation through the years.
